12 Early Stage Researcher (ESR) positions are now available in the Yeast Biotechnology Doctoral Training Programme YEASTDOC. YEASTDOC is a European Joint Doctoral Programme that brings together 6 academic and 9 non-academic partners. The scientific aim of the project is to maximize the potential of Saccharomyces and non-Saccharomyces yeasts in the beverage and white biotechnology sectors. Each ESR recruited to the project will complete a joint PhD, registering and undertaking research at 2 academic institutes. The student will also spend 4-6 months at an industry partner organisation gaining meaningful intersectoral experience. In addition to the PhD research project, comprehensive training in transferrable skills is offered to all ESRs in the programme.
